"We exist to glorify God by winning, teaching and equipping our world to passionately follow Jesus Christ."

Hear From God Humbly - We commit to be a Bible based community of believers because God reveals Himself to us perfectly through scripture.   It should determine what we think and do.
Love God Totally - We commit to be a God centred community of believers because the whole duty of humanity is to worship God. We do everything to honour God through a life-transforming relationship with Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit.
Love Others Authentically - We commit to be a People focused community of believers because we have been commanded to love our neighbours. We care for people in word and deed so that they are healthy physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

Be a multigenerational and diverse community by bringing together people of different ages, races, cultures and backgrounds to experience God. Place a balanced emphasis on evangelism, Christian growth, and training for service.

  • Be culturally relevant while remaining doctrinally and morally pure.
  • Do all things with excellence to God's glory.

Dynamic Leadership
We will regularly expand our vision and evaluate our programs and structures in order to continually pursue our mission.

Distinct Communities
We will nurture three kinds of connection at Emmanuel Baptist Church:
1  Large celebration service
2  Midsize congregations
3  Small groups.

Effective Entry Points
We will seek to have multiple entry points into our church family through efforts that address the needs of our local community.

Essential People Goals
We will set personal discipleship goals before each other so that we are productive and effective individuals.

We encourage people to regularly attend the weekly celebration services and to become passionate participants in our church family.
We encourage people to commit to a small group.
We encourage people to have regular private Bible study time and prayer time.
We encourage people to serve in one major ministry on a regular basis and to offer time, talents, and treasures for God's work.
We encourage people to be leaders, to invite others into our church family, and to share the good news of Jesus here and around the world.

The simplest definition of the church is this: People who believe that Jesus paid the price for their sins by suffering, dying, and being raised from the dead on the third day after His crucifixion. We are the witnesses to those true events (Luke 24:45-49).

Naturally, out of our love for God and thankfulness for His redemptive plan we want to share the truth about Jesus Christ to everyone we meet, to our community, and to the whole world.

Our ultimate aim is to fulfill the great commission that Jesus gave us before He ascended,
". . . . Go and make disciples of all nations. . . . "
