Day Camp 20222022-05-04T19:30:02+00:00

**Some age groups are already full. Check the registration forms for more details.**

We are so excited for another summer of hosting day camps at Emmanuel Barrie! Our hope is that your child(ren) will feel safe, loved and excited every day they are here!

This summer we are hosting 3 weeks of Adventure Camp and Sports camp: July 4-8, July 11-15 and July 18-22. Each week our campers will spend the mornings on-site doing the VBS portion of the program (Bible stories, songs, games and activities). After lunch, the campers will break off for their afternoon adventures. Afternoon adventures will include fun on-site and 2 off-site field trips during the week.

Please note: all 3 weeks of adventure camp and sports camp are the same.

We will also be holding one week of Extreme Camp from August 2-5.  This camp is specifically designed to grow your child’s character while having fun, making new friends and trying new things.

How to pack for your child each day2022-03-11T19:56:54+00:00

Adventure camp:

Each camper will need to bring a morning snack, lunch, a water bottle, a hat and sunscreen EVERY DAY! We will provide an afternoon snack each day. Please note this camp is NUT FREE, so please ensure that your child’s lunch and snacks do not contain traces of nuts or nut products. The afternoon snacks we provide will be nut-free, however, we do not accommodate any other dietary restrictions. If your child has any other dietary concerns (i.e. gluten-free) please provide an afternoon snack as well.

Many of our activities are outdoors, so please ensure that your child is dressed appropriately for the weather. It is also very important that your child brings sunscreen, as it will be reapplied every afternoon. Our field trips will only be cancelled due to heavy rain or storms. Some of our rain day activities may include swimming at the rec center, bowling or indoor mini-putt. It is advised that you send your child with a swimsuit and towel every day as well as running shoes and socks just incase they are needed. Your child will be given a camp t-shirt on the first day of camp. We ask that they can wear this shirt every day so we can easily identify our campers.

Extreme camp:

Due to the unique activities that our Jr. High Extreme campers engage in, a specific list of what your youth will need each day will be emailed out closer to the beginning of camp.
