The Gospel of John (A Beginning Bible Study): Fall 2020
October 2 @ 7:00 pm - December 11 @ 8:30 pm
Friday evenings, starting October 2nd (7:00 to 8:30 pm)
This fall session runs for 10 weeks (and won’t meet Thanksgiving weekend).
The study will be held onsite at Emmanuel respecting all the current safety guidelines, and will be led by Susan Enns. Men and women are welcome to participate!
If for any reason, Covid guidelines are restricted again, this study group will be ready to migrate online onto the ZOOM format, in order to not break stride.
When you register, instructions will be emailed to you on how to order the $18 workbook you will need for this study.
This is a basic study, designed for those just beginning their journey with Jesus, or desiring to learn how to start studying God’s Word for themselves.
On Sunday mornings this fall and winter, our pastors will be preaching from the Gospel of John. It is one of the most important books of the Bible a young believer must understand to know the basics about Jesus.
This 10-week Friday course will help you dig deeper into the first half of John’s gospel, gaining personal wealth from it for yourself! A second 10-weeks in winter of 2021 will complete the study.
The course will involve some preparation and a workbook that you’ll order separately, ahead of time.
As part of the study, you’ll learn to study the Bible for yourself–one of the most rewarding and life-changing experiences you’ll ever have!
