Women’s Bible Study (Tues am or Wed pm)

Sept 2019 Study: Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin
Why should we study the Sermon on the Mount? Because it will challenge us to think differently about Jesus. It will challenge us to think deeply about grace and law. And it will challenge us to think soberly about what it means to be a disciple.
The Sermon on the Mount articulates what the life of a Christ follower should look like, asking us the same questions it posed to its original hearers: How should a disciple relate to sin? To others? To the Law? How does a disciple think, speak, and act? In this 9-session study, examine the words of Jesus in-depth as He challenges us to think differently about repentance, salvation, and sanctification.
There are TWO options for attending our Women’s bible study:
- Our Tuesday morning study will begin Tuesday, Sept 17. It runs each Tuesday from 9:30am-11am. It will end on Tuesday, Nov 12. *Childcare is provided for pre-school children at this study – however spaces are limited.
2. Our Wednesday evening study (Family Night at Emmanuel) from 6:45pm-8:15pm. It will begin on Wed Sept 18, and finish Wed Nov 13.
