DESCRIPTION:This is the large midweek gathering of Emmanuel men\, young men and older men. All men gather to study the Bible. This winter semester we will be studying 1 and 2 Peter using the Dr. David Jeremiah study guide. \nMen gather for large group opening at 7pm and then break off into smaller groups of 12-14 men. Each group has an experienced leader and assistant leader. The study ends at 8:15pm. \n“Sanctify the Lord God in your hearts\, and always be ready to give a defence to everyone who asks you a reason for the hope that is in you”\n(1 Peter 3:15-16). \nThe disciple Peter\, who penned these words\, had witnessed the words\, works\, and wonders of the man he called the Messiah. He had seen not only the anguish that others had inflicted on Christ but also the suffering that his own denials had caused his Saviour and friend. SUMMARY:Psummer in the Psalms
DESCRIPTION:Several people are committing to reading through the final 50 Psalms this summer. We plan to do around 5 psalms per week over 10 weeks starting on the 8th of June. You can optionally purchase the book\, “In the Lord I Take Refuge” to read devotionally. It contains 150 daily devotions on the book of Psalms. Each devotion has the psalm of the day (in the ESV version) and a short 1 – 2 page commentary. \nThe format of this Study is quite flexible. You have several options available: \na) You can do this completely on your own. Read the last 50 Psalms (Pss. 101-150) over the course of the Summer.\nb) You will receive some basic notes on the psalms and some encouragement to keep pace with the rest of the people involved. We hope to send out a weekly email.\nc) You can join one or all of several meetings for discussion and prayer. It is hoped there will be an in-person meeting at the beginning\, middle and end of the ten weeks and an opportunity to join a Zoom meeting on the other weeks. In-person meetings will happen June 11\, July 9\, and August 13.\nd) Some of us hope to do a bit of journaling and we are looking for a way to post comments on the psalms as we go along. \nIf you choose to join\, you can do what your motivation and schedule allow. It is our prayer that you will complete the 50 Psalms and that you will find some blessing through your time in the Word. \nInterested in joining us? Register here!

SUMMARY:'Worthy' Album Release Concert - Emmanuel Song Collective
DESCRIPTION:After many months of collaborative writing\, editing\, and recording\, a new 10-song album by Emmanuel Song Collective\, titled ‘Worthy\,’ is ready for launch on Sunday\, June 14. Six song-writers and seventeen musicians contributed to this special project of worship music.  \nThis project was engineered by our own Nick Duquette at his LIFE 100.3 studio. These songs will be available on Spotify\, Apple Music\, YouTube\, and all other audio platforms\, and yes – also on CD!  \nCome on Sunday\, June 14 at 6:30 pm for a concert of worship experiencing these songs and also hearing stories of their creation.
