AWANA Listener

AWANA is a mid-week kids ministry program that is filled with fun, friends and time spent in the Bible. As a listener you will most often find yourself sitting with one clubber as they recite their memory verses. As they do so, or work on improving their recitation, you will also support them by helping them to understand what the verse means. This role is so important as to progress in their handbooks clubbers need to recite memory work to a leader on regular basis. In addition to listening to clubbers say their verses you may be asked to assist the small group leaders as needed during handbook time. Occasionally, you may also be asked to step into a different role if leaders are away or sick.

Please know that there is no requirement for previous experience with AWANA programs, a willing heart is all you need!

This serving opportunity is one that will have an eternal impact on the children here at Emmanuel and on those from the community who attend our club. We hope that you will consider joining us as we love, serve and disciples these children!
