Welcome to the Woods!

Our WOODS Sunday school is offered during both our Sunday morning worship services (9 am and 11 am).

We welcome children who are Newborn to the age of grade 5.

Nursery & Preschool

We have a bright and cheery nursery for children, 0 to 24 months and a preschool room for children ages 2-4. Fun, Bible stories, crafts and snack are all part of Preschool! Our caring volunteers will look after your children while you enjoy the church service.

JK – Grade 5

We call our Sunday morning program “The Woods”. Together we are learning what our loving God has to say to us through His Word, the Bible. Children will spend time in small groups and come together for large group teaching. Our kids love their time in “the Woods”!

CHECK IN PROCESS

If it is your first time at Emmanuel, stop by the Welcome desk in the Children’s ministry wing to register. You will be asked to fill out some basic contact information and your children will be given a name tag sticker for your child and a sticker for yourself to present when you come to pick up your children. The next time you attend, your children will have been entered into our database so that you can check in simply at a kiosk and receive printed name tags.

MEET THE STAFF

Our Children’s ministry is made possible by our volunteers. Each volunteer is carefully screened and goes through our Safe Church training. In addition to our volunteers, Lori-Anne and Pastor Randy keep our ministry running.

CHILD DEDICATION

The Parent/Child Dedication is for believing parents who wish to publicly commit themselves to parenting their children in “Christian discipline and Instruction,” (Ephesians 6:4). It is a church community based activity inviting the congregation of Emmanuel to partner with each believing parent in the joys and difficulties of parenting.
