Unified Fellowship is a group of singles doing life in Christ together, 30 and above. It is a welcoming place where singles have a sense of belonging. Our prayer and intent is to provide an environment where authentic community and spiritual growth become a reality. This reality is expressed through studying God’s Word, prayer, serving and caring for each other as members of the body of Christ.

We encourage participation in weekly Life Groups and other ministries within the church as well as regular opportunities to serve others locally and globally through outreach and missions. Our desire is to pursue a life-long, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ where our identity is found in Him and is affirmed by how we love and serve God and others. Every Sunday morning, we will have a time of Bible Study followed by prayer and fellowship.

Our mission is to build a community for Christ-centred singles desiring to grow in Christ by loving God and caring for one another as we minister at Emmanuel and in the Barrie community.

Who joins Unified Fellowship?

Singles (age 30 and above), whether always single or single again, with or without children. (Childcare is provided in the Woods during our Sunday morning worship time. However, childcare will not be provided on Thursday evenings for our Bible studies..)

How do I register?

You are welcome to join us any Thursday starting in the Fall – it doesn’t matter if we’re at the beginning, middle or end of a Bible study session. To register, click the “Let Us Know You Plan to Join Us” link above!

Is it a Bible study?

Yes! On Thursday evenings, 6:45-8:15 pm, starting Thursday, Sept. 12, we gather to study God’s Word together, pray for one another and encourage each other. We decide together what we will study as a group.

What can I expect?

If you’re joining us on Thursday evening, expect some informal chat as we begin, then we will listen to a worship song together. We will watch a teaching video and have discussion questions following. Our our Bible study times will end with prayer.

Do you meet outside of Thursday Evenings?

Yes! We also meet for social fellowship once a month and enjoy a variety of activities together! As well, our Unified Fellowship group enjoys getting out and serving our Barrie community as various opportunities and needs arise.

Updates.

Our Sunday morning Bible study will take a summer hiatus! Our last meeting together will be Sunday, June 16th (Father’s Day) and we will resume again in the fall. In September, we will be meeting on Thursday evenings, from 6:45-8:15 pm in the Boardroom off the library, and will resume on Thursday, September 12. We look forward to seeing you then!
