Day Camp Adult Volunteer
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 1-3 hours daily for one week (or more) 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Be part of our fun filled day camp, by helping fill a few important roles throughout the week.
Youth Night Café Monitor
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2-3 hours on a rotating Tuesday evening schedule. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This role is filled with lots of mingling with both the youth and their parents as they wait for the programs to start. This role helps the whole ministry to run even smoother, by providing adult presence while ensuring the youth feel welcome, loved and safe while in the building.
Widow Care Ministry
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2-3 hours monthly. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: A very unique that involves investing in the lives of others mainly through regular phone correspondence. These phone calls are so important to the widows in our church as we check in on them to see how they are doing physically, emotionally and spiritually.
Sprouts Childcare
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2 hours on Thursdays, twice a month (September to May). 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Sprouts is the program for children that runs parallel to our Bloom Outreach ministry. At Sprouts, the children of the Bloom moms are cared for in a vibrant, loving environment. Children from 6 months to 4 years old are divided by age and developmental stage, and we share the love of Christ with them!
Joy Fellowship Cook
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 6 hours on the 3rd Thursday of the month (October-June). Additional hours may be needed for planning and shopping. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Part of the monthly program for Joy Fellowship includes a hot lunch prepared and provided for them. In this role you would plan, shop for and prepare this lunch with the help of other volunteers.
Jr. High Youth Leader
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2-3 hours every Tuesday throughout the school year. And once a month team meetings with training sessions. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: You will have the opportunity to walk alongside the Jr. High students who attend our youth program and join us on mission by investing in these students and discipling them as they grow in their faith or as they come to know Jesus.
Gardener
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Occasional based on your availability. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: An individual who enjoys being outside, getting their hands covered in dirt and perhaps has a natural green thumb would be a great fit for this role. Gardeners help us maintain our gardens at the church and create a beautiful welcoming exterior throughout the warmer months of the year.
Bible Study Childcare
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2 hours on Tuesday mornings for the duration of the Women's Fall and Spring Bible studies. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Tuesday morning childcare at Emmanuel is a blessing to the mom's who attend the morning Bible study in the Fall and Spring. In this role you will be enabling moms to spend time in the word and give them a safe place to let their children play.
Joy Fellowship Lunch Team
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Minimum of 3 hours on the third Thursday of every month. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: As part of the Lunch Team, you will either help prep, serve or clean up during the hot buffet lunch you and your team will provide the seniors with.
Youth Night Welcome Desk
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 1-2 hours on a rotating schedule for Tuesday evenings throughout the school year. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: You will be the first face that the youth and their parents will see as they arrive at the church on Youth nights. You will help check them in, welcome visitors, help them feel comfortable and answer questions.
Worship Team Member
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Rotating schedule of practice on Thursday evening and Sunday morning services (~6 hours). 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Our worship teams consist of rhythm section players (piano, keyboard, bass guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, and drums) vocalists, and also occasional solo instruments such as violin or sax. We invite you to consider how your musical gifts and skills can be used to glorify God and bless others in our church family.
AWANA Listeners
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3 hours on Wednesdays evenings (October to May). 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: AWANA is a mid-week kids ministry program that is filled with fun, friends and time spent in the Bible. As a listener you will most often find yourself sitting with one clubber as they recite their memory verses as they do so you will guide them in understanding what the verses mean.
Joy Fellowship Kitchen Co-ordinator
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3-6 hours per month, which includes the event on the third Thursday of every month. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: As a Kitchen Co-Ordinator, you would be leading and organizing wonderful volunteers, as together you will bless the seniors after their program with a hot lunch.

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3-4 hours on a rotating schedule for Tuesday evenings throughout the school year. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: You will have the opportunity to tangibly love our youth, their parents and leaders by providing them with food to purchase and a clean spot to spend time as they wait and socialize.
Camera Operator
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Once monthly for 1-2 hours. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This is an opportunity to be a part of the team serving in the online ministry to our people and to those who view us from outside our doors! As the Camera Operator, you will be the one sitting behind the sound booth, operating the one camera we use to focus on those on stage.
Library Team
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2 hours on a rotating Sunday morning schedule. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Our library is a wonderful community space and a tremendous resource for our church family. Whether you want to enjoy a good read from our Christian fiction selection or need some resources to answer some questions the library team is there to help!
AWANA Large Group Leader
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3 hours on Wednesday evenings (October to May) and additional prep-work time during the week. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This role places you in a fun position to help teach what the Bible has to say in a interactive and engaging way to our AWANA clubbers. You will lead two different 25-minute large group times for clubbers Grades SK - Grade 2 and Grade 3-5.
Vertical Basketball Cafe Host
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3 hours on a Monday evenings for 10 weeks. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: You will have the opportunity to tangibly love the parents of vertical basketball players as you provide them with food to purchase and a clean spot to spend time as they wait and socialize.
Big Game Volunteer
𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3-6 hours on the day of the event. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The Big Game is the largest Youth Outreach event of the year! The goal of The Big Game is to put on a high energy, fun, church event for students to bring their friends to that is welcoming and safe. And this is only made possible through volunteers!
