Emmanuel Youth is the student ministry of Emmanuel Barrie. We serve two age groups, Junior High students (Grades 6-8) and Senior High Students (Grades 9-12) through separate programming on the same night, shaped by one unified strategy and vision.

Truth

Each week, we will encourage our students to open the Bible and explore what it has to teach them and how it can be applied to their everyday lives.

Mentorship

Every student is connected with a small group and a caring adult leader who loves Jesus and is committed to walking through life with them.

Community

Our goal is for students to learn and grow together. We want them to share meaningful experiences, whether during a retreat, a special event, or our weekly youth nights at Emmanuel.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In short… a whole lot of fun!

Students sign-in at the welcome desk when they arrive (be sure to register below). After check‑in, they can hang out in the gym, atrium, youth room, sanctuary, or café until their program begins. Then we gather in groups by grade and gender for wide‑group games, followed by worship, Bible teaching, and small‑group discussion.

At the end of the night, parents or guardians can meet students inside the church doors or in the parking lot.

We ask all students who attend Emmanuel Youth to have a parent or guardian complete a registration form once each ministry year. This gives us emergency information if needed and ensures you receive updates about what’s happening at Emmanuel Youth.

Next, we gather into groups based on grade & gender and enjoy wide-group games, followed by a time of worship, Bible teaching and small group discussion.

When the evening is over, parents and/or guardians can meet students inside the church doors, or in the parking lot.

We ask that all students who attend Emmanuel Youth have their parents/guardians fill out this registration form once each ministry year. This form provides Emmanuel with emergency information, should we need it, and puts you on our list to receive regular communication and updates about what is happening at Emmanuel Youth.
