Sprouts is the program for children that runs parallel to our Bloom Outreach ministry. At Sprouts, the children of the Bloom moms are cared for in a vibrant, loving environment. Children from 6 months to 4 years old are divided by age and developmental stage, and we share the love of Christ with them! Older children enjoy bible stories, crafts and snacks, and for many of them, it’s their first time hearing about Jesus! Come and be part of this exciting outreach ministry that seeks to encourage and inspire moms in the unique stage of early parenthood.

In this role your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
+ Arrive by 9am on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month, from September until May.
+ Welcome infants and toddlers gently and enthusiastically as they arrive.
+ Help parents feel comfortable and answer any questions they may have.
+ Care for the needs of the infants and toddlers during the program
+ Serve snacks, play and possibly lead a bible lesson.
+ Report to the coordinator if needed throughout the ministry time.

Commitment: 2 hours on Thursdays, twice a month (September to May).

Requirements: Safe Church Training, an attendee of Emmanuel Barrie for a minimum of 6 months. This role requires some mobility and someone who is flexible if scheduling challenges arise.
