Big Game Volunteer
The Big Game is the largest Youth Outreach event of the year! The goal of The Big Game is to put on a high energy, fun, church event for students to bring their friends to that is welcoming and safe. We hope to build lasting relationships with new students that come to The Big Game. By serving at this event you are making this night possible! There are countless volunteers needed and without them we would not be able to host an event of this size. Your presence can bring safety, fun and love to the night. Each and every role fills a need and helps us to love these teens and reflect Christ to them.
This serving opportunity is a one time commitment, but we do need help each year for the same event. To serve at this event energy, enthusiasm, and an expectation to have a lot of fun is required! We need MANY hands to pull off this once a year event and the follow is a list of areas that we are looking to fill for our next Big Game event.
+ Activities Team (Run or oversee pre-planned games and activities)
+ Kitchen Team
+ Welcome and Connect Team (Sell tickets, connect with students, ensure safety)
+ Serving Team (Serve Food and manage food tables)
+ Tech Team (Run sound, projection and lights)
+ Set up Team (Set up 1-5pm day of the event)
+ Tear Down Team (Tear Down and clean up 9-11pm night of the event)
Commitment: 3-6 hours on the day of the event. And a one hour meeting one to two weeks prior to the event.
Requirements: To serve in this role Safe Church Training is required and you need to be attending for a minimum of 6 months.
