The Bloom ministry exists to encourage and inspire moms with young children. Bloom leaders prayerfully plan and implement the outreach ministry of Bloom.

Bloom leaders are moms with children from infancy through Sr. Kindergarten who want to serve other moms by planning and implementing the program. They share the workload of this relational outreach ministry by working with a large team of committed Christians who attend Emmanuel regularly. This ministry meets on the 2nd and 4th Thursday from Sept – May. Leaders commit to approximately 2 hours of work each week, including attending the meetings.

In this role your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
+ Attend Bloom Leadership meetings to plan the year and upcoming meetings
+ Regularly communicate with your team to share the tasks needing to be completed
+ Arrive early to each meeting to help set up and greet the moms and their children as they arrive
+ Get to know the mothers who attend the program and help them to feel comfortable attending the program

Commitment: 2 hours a week (or less) on Thursdays for one year.
