The children’s wing welcome desk is the a place where every child and parent feels welcomed, noticed and cared for on Sunday mornings. The welcome desk is a place for new families to stop by and learn about our Children’s ministry, have help checking in, registering and getting to know the leaders in the respective rooms. If you are someone who loves high-fives, big smiles and getting to know children and their parents, this is a role for you!

In this role your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
+ Arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled service and make sure the iPads and printers are working for Sunday morning check-in.
+ Greet each family/child and help them feel comfortable.
+ Welcome new families/children and introduce them to their child’s small group teacher.
+ Stay at the Woods Welcome Desk until about 15-20 minutes after the service has begun to welcome any late-comers.

Basic familiarity with iPads, lable printers is an asset but training will be provided.

Commitment: 30-40 minutes on a rotating Sunday morning schedule throughout the school year (September – August).

Requirements: Safe Church Training is required and you need to be a regualr attendee of Emmanuel  for a minimum of 6 months.
