Once a year our church family spends an afternoon together with food, fun and games at our church family picnic. For the day to be a success we need a large team of volunteers, and you are invited to join that team! Our church family picnic is a rich opportunity for those in our church congregation to invite their neighbours to connect with our faith community. This event is also an opportunity for those who live across the street to join us! Our hope and desire is that the church family picnic is a welcoming place for all who attend, and a place to foster healthy connections between church attendees and newcomers.

To serve at this event energy, enthusiasm, and an expectation to have a lot of fun is required! We need MANY hands to pull off this once a year event and the follow is a list of areas that we are looking to fill for our next family picnic.

+ Games Host (Run or oversee pre-planned games and activities)
+ Kitchen Team (Preparing food for lunch)
+ Serving Team (Serve Food and manage food tables)
+ Bouncy Castle supervisor (Ensuring safety and helping children take turns)
+ Cotton Candy and Popcorn Team (running the machines to prepare snacks)
+ Set up Team (Set up during the 11am)
+ Tear Down Team (Tear Down and clean up after the picnic is done and folks begin to leave)
+ AND MORE!

Commitment: 2-4 hours on the day of the event. (Next picnic: Sunday, September 10, 2023)
