Serving in this role you will have the opportunity to walk alongside the Jr. High students who attend our youth program throughout the year. By being part of this team you will be joining us on mission by investing in these students and discipling them as they grow in their faith or as they come to know Jesus. Through your own strong and growing relationship with Christ, you are able to share with these students and support them as they build their biblical foundation of who Christ is. Serving in this role will of course be filled with fun! Our Jr. High ministry is full of fun, laughter and crazy things and by serving in it you will have a front-row seat!

This serving opportunity is a big commitment, but it is one that will have an eternal impact on the youth here at Emmanuel. We hope that you will consider joining us as we love, serve and disciples these teens!

In this role your responsibilities will include (but may not be limited to):
+ Attend the weekly Tuesday evening youth program
+ Participate in the programming: Worship, games, facilitating small group discussion.
+ Disciple students and build relationships with them
+ Attend all special events for Jr. High: monthly events, fall retreat
+ Use your gifts within the ministry (i.e teaching, worship, games, etc.)
+ Pray regularly for the team, students, and families.

Commitment:  2-3 hours every Tuesday throughout the school year (September – August). And once a month team meetings with training sessions.

Requirements: Safe Church Training, an attendee of Emmanuel Barrie for a minimum of 6 months.
