Each and every volunteer who serve with our kids, youth and seniors are required to attend Safe Church Training and go through a Safe Church interview. This process is important to our church and the safety of those who are vulnerable. The Safe Church interviews are conducted to converse with each applicant about their application and their life as a Christian. This is also a great opportunity for us to get to know each applicant on a deeper level. During these invterviews a list of questions will be asked, and there will be an opportunity for you to answer questions they may have. You will also have an opportunity to help applicants learn about serving opportunities that may fit their gifts and skills.

In this role your responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

+ Meet new people regularly and make them feel comfortable
+ Work with another individual to conduct the interview
+ Conduct interviews between the two services
+ Review their volunteer application and converse with them about it
+ Answer questions the applicant may have
+ Offer suggestions on opportunities of where the applicant may be interested in serving.

Commitment: Up to 45 minutes on a Sunday morning between services, as needed. 

Requirements: A minimum of one year of regular attendance at Emmanuel, Church membership is highly recommended for this leadership position.
