WHEN WE MEET
WHEN WE MEET
Sundays
Sr. High students join our Sunday morning services to worship, learn, and grow alongside our congregation. They also have several opportunities to serve within our church community where they can develop their character and leadership qualities alongside our tech team, welcome staff and in our children’s ministry. To learn more, contact us HERE.
Tuesday Nights
Sr. High students (Grades 9-12) will be meeting weekly on Tuesday evenings (beginning mid-September through until the end of May) from 7:15-9pm at Emmanuel Barrie. During youth, Sr. High students will enjoy hang-out time, games, a weekly Bible lesson and small group time. To get weekly updates, register for Sr. High HERE.

Join us over the summer as Sr High students join together for our Summer Youth Programming. We have awesome events spaced over the summer like beach days, campfires, movie nights, mini-golf and more! Visit our Events page from July-August to find out which events will be happening, or check below.

We ask all regular attenders to fill out a registration form once each ministry year. This allows us to collect any necessary medical and contact information so we can keep you in the loop of regular events and announcements and in the event of an emergency.
Students arrive and sign-in at the welcome desk. They are then free to hang-out for a bit while they wait for their program to begin. They are free to enjoy the open gym, gaga ball, foosball, air hockey and the café during this time. The program begins with a large group game. We then move into a time of worship and teaching, followed by small group time. Small groups are separated by grade and gender and led by volunteer leaders. Students are dismissed following their small group time.
This is our schedule
7:15 – Welcome and Games
8:00 – Worship
8:15 – Teaching
8:35 – Small groups

Yes! The café will be open from 6:15-7:30 pm and will have meals, snacks and drinks available for purchase. Students are encouraged to hang out as they wait for their program to begin. There will be café supervision.
Both groups will be in the building at the same time, but will be using different spaces. Most special events and all retreats will have the groups separated.
Our weekly meetings are free. However, students may purchase snacks and drinks at the café. Prices range from .10¢ to $5. There are also some special events and retreats that will cost money to attend. Details on each event will be announced well in advance so you have time to plan and financial assistance will be available to those who need it.
Yes! We are planning to have a Fall retreat in October and a Winter retreat in February for our Sr. High students. Watch your emails and the event page for details.
Our youth leaders are volunteers who have an interest in discipling students toward a deeper relationship with God. Each volunteer has completed their Safe Church vulnerable sector screening, which includes a police check, interview and reference check.
