Gospel of John, chapters 1-12

Men of all ages are welcome to join us as we meet at Emmanuel, in the Boardroom, Wednesdays 7-9 pm, beginning May 1st and continuing until August 7th.

Like the regular men’s Bible studies, this will be an inductive study, focusing on observation, “What does the passage say?” interpretation, “What does the passage mean?” and application “How does the passage apply to our lives?” Each session closes with a prayer time.

Our study guide with the discussion questions will be John 1-12: Part 1: The Living Word of God, by Douglas Connelly, IVP, available for $15. (Google for Kindle edition) Participants each choose one of the discussion question to answer the following week. Those interested in developing leadership skills will be given an opportunity to lead one of the sessions.
