Gathering Plans at Emmanuel Barrie
As gathering restrictions have begun to lift, we are anticipating a wide range of reactions from our church and community. For some, the relief of a return to normal seating and spacing is a celebration. Others will find it anxiety-provoking and cause for concern. All are welcome and we will encourage everyone to love each other well by respecting the differences.
Here’s what to expect on campus:
-
Greeters at the doors are available to answer questions and direct you and guests. We no longer need to pre-register or provide info for contact tracing.
-
Masks are not required. Anyone who wishes to wear a mask is welcome to do so.
-
Our large atrium allows everyone to space as they wish while arriving and spending time talking after the services or programs.
-
Please find your seat in the worship center (or in any of the programming that happens in the building). If you wish to maintain space around you, place your coat or other items on the seats beside you. We are no longer required to use every other row and leave seats between households.
-
Receptacles are provided for tithing and online giving is encouraged.
-
Communion elements are picked up from tables at entrances (not passed).
