Sprouts (Bloom) Childcare

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2 hours on Thursdays, twice a month (September to May). 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Sprouts is the program for children that runs parallel to our Bloom Outreach ministry. At Sprouts, the children of the Bloom moms are cared for in a vibrant, loving environment. Children from 6 months to 4 years old are divided by age and developmental stage, and we share the love of Christ with them!

Bible Study Childcare

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2 hours on Tuesday mornings for the duration of the Women's Fall and Spring Bible studies. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Tuesday morning childcare at Emmanuel is a blessing to the mom's who attend the morning Bible study in the Fall and Spring. In this role you will be enabling moms to spend time in the word and give them a safe place to let their children play.

AWANA Listeners

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3 hours on Wednesdays evenings (October to May). 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: AWANA is a mid-week kids ministry program that is filled with fun, friends and time spent in the Bible. As a listener you will most often find yourself sitting with one clubber as they recite their memory verses as they do so you will guide them in understanding what the verses mean.

AWANA Large Group Leader

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3 hours on Wednesday evenings (October to May) and additional prep-work time during the week. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This role places you in a fun position to help teach what the Bible has to say in a interactive and engaging way to our AWANA clubbers. You will lead two different 25-minute large group times for clubbers Grades SK - Grade 2 and Grade 3-5.

Usher

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2 hours on Sunday mornings, based on a rotating schedule. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: The Ushers are an essential part of a welcoming and smooth-running Sunday worship service. They greet everyone at the doors and act as a host for their section of the worship centre and offer support and connect to those who attend.

Children’s Large Group Teacher

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 1.25 hours on a rotating Sunday morning schedule plus preparation. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Come join the fun on Sunday mornings in the Woods (our children's wing)! You will have the opportunity to introduce Jesus to children from JK to Grade 5. Our large group teachers lay the foundation blocks of faith in the lives of these children in partnership with our small group leaders.

Children’s Small Group Leader

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 1.25 hours on a rotating Sunday morning schedule plus preparation. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Come join the fun on Sunday mornings! Our small group leaders in partnership with the Large group teachers have the privilege of introducing the children to the God who loves them and the Saviour who died for them. Small group leaders are responsible for 6-10 children in a specific age group and often serve with another team member.

AWANA Area Director (Sparks or T&T)

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 3 hours on Wednesday evenings (September to May). 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: As an AWANA Area Director you will be in a place where you can get to know the children and other volunteers in either Sparks or T&T as you ensure the night runs smoothly. As a club director you will help the volunteers feel supported, the children feel welcomed and that everyone remains connected and up to date.

Youth Night Café Monitor

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2-3 hours on a rotating Tuesday evening schedule. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: This role is filled with lots of mingling with both the youth and their parents as they wait for the programs to start. This role helps the whole ministry to run even smoother, by providing adult presence while ensuring the youth feel welcome, loved and safe while in the building.

Big Game Volunteer

The goal of The Big Game is to put on a high energy, fun, church event for students to bring their friends to that is welcoming and safe. And this is only made possible through volunteers!

Vertical Basketball Coach

𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 2 hours on a rotating Sunday morning schedule. 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: Greeters are the first warm welcome that everyone experiences on a Sunday at Emmanuel. This vital role is alert to first-time attenders who need assistance and initiates helping them find their way. They actively introduce themselves and offer a warm welcome to newcomers.
